Zoe’s Board & Staff

Guided by faith and united in mission, our board and staff work together to ensure that every person who walks through Zoe’s doors is met with compassion, dignity, and the hope of Christ. These are the men and women who prayerfully lead, serve, and steward the vision of extending the table—so more lives can find freedom, healing, and purpose.

Tara Estwick

Tara wears many hats—she’s a mother of 7, grandmother, lawyer, accountant, homesteader, homeschool mom who serves faithfully as our Board Treasurer. But beyond all her titles, she is a woman of great faith and fierce love.

Tara’s heart for Zoe Freedom Center comes from a deeply personal place. Her own son battled addiction, and through unwavering love and God’s grace, he is now living sober and strong. She knows firsthand that freedom doesn’t come through the justice system—it comes through Jesus, and through people who choose care, compassion, and community over condemnation.

Tara brings to Zoe a powerful blend of professional excellence and personal passion—her legal and financial expertise help steward our mission with integrity, while her life experience brings understanding, empathy, and fire to the fight for freedom.

James Heyward

As Pastor of Salem Fields Community Church, James brings over 30 years of ministry, development, and leadership experience, but it’s his story and compassion that make his voice so impactful.

James grew up in foster care, where the love of foster parents and a caring church family gave him belonging and purpose—shaping the way he now pours into others. Addiction also touched his life personally when he lost his brother, fueling his passion to walk with those still struggling.

James leads from the heart, meeting people in their pain and sharing hope through Christ from his own journey. His life is a powerful reminder that when we step out in faith and love others, eternities change.

Stephen George brings a unique blend of spiritual wisdom and financial expertise to Zoe Freedom Center. As both a Pastor and a Financial Advisor, he provides strategic leadership, accountability, and steady guidance in his role as Board Chair.

Stephen’s heart for Zoe runs deep. His commitment, insight, and care help strengthen the ministry and support its growth. We are deeply grateful for the time and talent he invests in advancing the mission of freedom and restoration.
